RESULTS: Meth Addition-Three Felonies and a Second Chance

Client came to Dax in trouble…again.

Her addiction to meth landed her back in jail she and her family were broken over her continued self-destruction.

She should have gone to prison and some would say she deserved to because she had been before.

But, Dax reviewed the cases, looked at his client’s history, and realized his client had never been to a substance abuse treatment center before.

Dax diligently worked with the client, obtained medical and mental health records, consulted with the treatment center in advance, and coordinated the logistics BEFORE meeting with the state’s attorney.

Dax ultimately secured a pre-indictment deal for his client—eliminating 2 of the 3 felonies—and allowing the client to enter the treatment center as a condition of supervision with zero tolerance.

At Blizzard and Zimmerman Attorneys, we know that the black & white documents don’t always tell the true story, so we question everything.

We believe every client & case is different and the outcome should reflect those differences rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
