No Conviction after violating pre trial diversion
RESULTS: No Convection after Pre-Trial Diversion Violation

Client came to us after violating the terms of her Pre-Trial Diversion (PTD).

The typical response to a PTD problem is to send the client straight to jail with a criminal conviction by skipping probation.

PTD is NOT probation, but rather an alternative program offered through the DA’s Office but supervised by the probation department which allows the case to sit on a shelf while the client complies with conditions.

Upon successful completion, the case is dismissed and the client is eligible for expunction.

Here, the client was unable to return to PTD after her violation. However, our attorney diligently worked the case from the ground up, referred the client to community resources, met with the Assistant District Attorney, and worked the case out where the client avoided a conviction but still had protective safeguards setup for community safety and benefit of the client.

At Blizzard and Zimmerman Attorneys, we don’t slap duct tape on a problem.

We address the roots and do our job.
