RESULTS: Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child charge Dismissed

Client was charged with Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child, a 1st-degree enhanced felony.

Client had been previously charged with Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child in the Dallas Fort Worth area.

Client had entered a plea to a lesser included offense and received probation.

The allegations in this case related to the same victim, but for conduct in the Big Country.

Charges were not brought until years later.

Criminal Defense attorneys Jacob Blizzard and our criminal defense attorney investigated and gathered evidence showing that the case was the same conduct already considered in the DFW case.

They also presented evidence of the client’s good conduct while on probation for the prior case.

Through negotiation and working with the prosecutor, Mr. Blizzard and our attorney successfully achieved a dismissal of the charge.
