RESULTS: Expunction of Two Arrests – Family Violence
Our client faced significant legal challenges after being arrested on two serious charges related to family violence. These charges included a Class A misdemeanor for Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Violence and a third-degree felony for Continuous Assault Family Violence, both of which carry severe repercussions if not resolved favorably.
Our Approach
Understanding the gravity of the situation, our legal team worked diligently to position the client for the best possible outcome. Initially, the client was placed on a pre-trial diversion program, which allowed for a temporary suspension of prosecution contingent upon fulfilling certain conditions.
Upon the client’s successful completion of the pre-trial diversion, we were retained to pursue the expunction of both arrests, effectively seeking a fresh start for the client without the stigma of a criminal record.
Outcome
Both arrests were successfully expunged.
Through meticulous preparation and strategic legal maneuvering, our firm was able to petition successfully for the expunction of both arrests. This result not only removed the cloud of criminal charges from our client’s record but also provided a path forward free from the burden of past allegations.
This case highlights our commitment to achieving the best outcomes for our clients, even in complex legal situations. If you or someone you know is facing similar challenges, contact our experienced legal team to discuss how we can assist in your case.
