Lawyers here at our firm are selective about the types of cases we accept court appointments for.
Each of our lawyers has a community interest in certain areas of law & CHOOSE to serve our community by being placed on those court appointment lists.
Fighting for families in our community is a priority because even though our state has an interest in safeguarding our children, sometimes the state gets it wrong—after all, we’re all imperfect people.
This month one of our attorneys was appointed as a child’s attorney where the state was seeking removal from the parent.
Our attorneys know the importance of keeping families together when it’s safe to do so.
In this case, the father was making progress, had taken steps to address his issues, & the children were in a good place emotionally, physically, & developmentally. Our attorney’s efforts stopped the removal & thereby prevented family separation trauma for these kids.
